our process

This is a great time to get to know one another.

We review your project, discuss your budget, your list of essential inclusions and your “wish list”. 

If you already have plans we’ll review what you want included in your quote and discuss timelines for quoting and proposals.

If you don’t have plans, we develop a comprehensive brief and work together to decide if we use a talented team of designers or pitch the concept to one of our recommended architects for them to refine the ideas and come up with an inspirational plan. 

 With budget considerations in mind our design team prepares preliminary concepts for presentation. We work together to refine them and ensure the final design meets your needs. 

Once the design is approved we engage our geotechnical engineers, structural engineers and energy rating specialists and move on to provide the working drawings and final documentation for submission to the building surveyor for review prior to obtaining your building permit.

Once the design is ready and we have engineering and energy rating information we prepare a fully inclusive quote with no hidden extras.

If you'r happy to proceed based on the quoted price we prepare a plain English  MBAV contract for your review and approval and once signed have the documentation submitted to an independent building surveyor for them to issue a building permit.
